Arab media, vying for Our support of Hamas.

The Arab media networks are putting out continuous coverage of the current Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Gaza, did I mention it’s one-sided? Israel has not allowed any network journalists inside of Gaza as of yet for fear of them being injured or slain during the continued attacks that began in mid-December after Hamas fired a round of missiles into Israel.

Watching the news, we continue to see coverage of pro-Palestinian rallies across America and the world. In front of the Israeli embassy in Paris, thousands gathered to protest throwing shoes and injuring security officials and began looting stores in the area and also burning cars in protest. Really? Is that supposed to have a positive effect, for you to destroy another person’s property and to resolve to steal? The Pro-Israel rallies seem to be better organized and more civilized.

I know that I do not like the idea of a group that believes that the destruction of the Jews shall bring about the end:

“The Prophet, Allah's prayer and peace be upon him, says: "The hour of judgment shall not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them, so that the Jews hide behind trees and stones, and each tree and stone will say: 'Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him,' except for the Gharqad tree, for it is the tree of the Jews." (Recorded in the Hadith collections of Bukhari and Muslim).”

Taken from http://memri.org in an article written about "The Covenant of the Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas".

Apparently, the Jews must be slaughtered to bring about the end of the world? I am not too keen on other world religions than my own but I find that information about Islam very disturbing and telling.

Now I will go back to my rant about the Arab media. The Arab media is drawing more sentiment to their cause because of the way it is being presented to the world, via their bias. The Time Magazine cover couldn’t do much more to support this claim. The cover says “Why Israel Can’t Win,” the media hyped Obama up to America and the world and now they are putting a militant terrorist organization, Hamas, up on a pedestal. A media that supports Hamas, what next, celebrate the birthday of Hitler? I will say this, much of the article in Time is about the growing Arab population in Israel and at their birthrate, the Jews will be outnumbered in their own land eventually, but the cover seems to tell a different story and is disturbing.

I support Israel and their cause. Hamas is fighting as cowards in Gaza, having their artillery storage facilities in heavily populated areas and running their operations underground in hospitals and houses. With this, anytime Israel does hit a Hamas target, civilian casualties are imminent, sadly. Hamas first fired, Israel is retaliating. When you have an enemy, who is publicizing every civilian casualty, and everyone in the world is viewing the Arab propaganda, people will be fooled because no one likes to see an innocent person die, but like I said, the media are great at persuading people, look what happened during the campaign season.
